Here's a list of alt rock release dates for the first half of this year. Aside from this list, the Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, Interpol, and The Cure are all working on new albums due for release at some point in 2007. Sounds like it will be a good year for music.

The ones in bold are the ones I am especially looking forward to.

I got the new Shins, didn't realize it was leaked until I saw Scott's post. It is good but I need more listens to give a final verdict. I will say that there is no other song as catchy as Phantom Limb on there which is probably a bad thing. Their last album had so many good songs...

I really don't care what country sees the album first. It's bound to hit the internet regardless of who gets it first.

I can't wait for the new NIN release which is supposed to come April 17th. Brian gave me this link yesterday which has a few singles from the upcoming Year Zero album.

Unfortunately, "personal freedom and liberties" doesn't mean anything here, and that makes it difficult to find pirated material most of the time. :-(
